A North Carolina Mountain Log Cabin

On a day like today, we are reminded why we love living in the "Timeless North Carolina Mountains." Whatever the weather, these mountains offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Today it is snow!

For those of us who love living in a log home, we are also reminded of simpler times when the heart of the old log cabins was the hearth. The hearth was used for cooking, a place for the family to gather around to stay warm and an additional source of light during the evening hours.

Today the log homes have all the modern conveniences, but we still gather around the fireplace to enjoy the warmth and conversation that go hand in hand with snow and a roaring fire in the fireplace.

We are offering for sale this log home with ten private acres, 3-bedrooms, 2.5-baths, with two native stone fireplaces, and constructed from old reclaimed logs. This unique property is located in the magical Blue Ridge Mountains in Ashe County, NC.

I am so envious of your gorgeous North Carolina mountains. I monitor your website almost daily. You definitely have a wonderful website and your presentation of properties is the best by far of your competitors. Hopefully I will be in a position to talk to you about one of your Blue Ridge mountain properties soon. Keep up the good work.
