The Best Kept Secret in North Carolina! There is a place in the North Carolina Mountains that is unknown to most. Only the people who live there and the people who are fortunate enough to visit know of this unique log home community called Stonebridge. Stonebridge is located on one of the highest mountains in Ashe County, North Carolina in the Todd Community with elevations 4,200 feet and over. To find Stonebridge, one must leave the paved highways and drop onto a wooded private lane canopied with trees, fringed with wildflowers and lined with aged old split rail fences. It is here that the developers of Stonebridge brought old logs gathered from around the country to this mountain to create a haven for people who value the homespun traditions of the North Carolina Mountains.
